Kat brings connection and joy to piano lessons by teaching outside the box - she brings games, improvisation, popular music, theory, and online content to her students, making music more accessible than ever. 

Kat has been teaching piano for 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Music (Hons) and PhD in music composition, an AMusA in piano performance, and was a licensed Kindermusik Educator for 10 years. She brings a deep love of music and joy of creating music, and a nurturing approach to her teaching that students love.
